Is selling getting harder? Certainly not if you are using the correct tools.

The best marketers and salespeople have noticed that Video increases the bottom line and are incorporating video as a key tool in their strategies, utilising Vostit Business or Vostit Business Pro. Video content drives action at all points of the sales cycle, from enhancing Search engine optimization to providing potential clients with key information that separates you from the competition.

Successful salespeople understand that the key to “closing that sale” is providing all the information the decision makers requires in a way that they can readily understand, and overcoming and answering any objections and questions whilst keeping all relevant parties engaged in the process.

It is amazing that some salespeople when extolling to potential clients the virtues of their company, product or services continue to be stuck with using outdated ink on paper.  Yet a recent Forbes Insight Study stated that their research has revealed that 59% of C-level decision makers prefer video to reading text. The findings are not surprising, video presentations helps to make deeper connections with companies and better understand products and services. In sales speak; a value proposition is better understood when using video to compliment a presentation than relying on text alone, because paper alone cannot provide a personal connection. C-level leaders often do not have the time or inclination to review large amounts of (often expensively compiled) written information, preferring to view a well thought out video.

Video content is effective because by being more personable it is better at building trust with potential clients, and is likely to differentiate from competitors creating an edge that increases sales.

Creating a video library of presentation will help build sales: -

A video can be produced instead of a brochure, such can be sent to prospective clients by Vostit video email as well as embed into your website. Video will keep people engaged, and will help sales.

The Video should feature content that shows clients your team, include those that are going to work the solution, - the technicians, project managers, support and operations. Content that displays real people, not actors, will work best for it creates a sense of connection with the viewer, these guys are like my team.

Research has showed that videos that contain  product intensive information are often repeatedly replayed by clients and potential clients, such indicates a willingness by many to understand what is being offered, a brochure cannot capture the audience in the same way.

The old adage that a picture paints a thousand words is especially true of video. And, who better to tell the story of your company than you and the people that work in your team.

All salespeople come across client objections, and often they are the same, for example price or after sales service or competitor offerings. There is no advantage in ignoring such, indeed much better to tackle such head on by recording your answers to the most commonly asked questions, letting your potential client know you understand what they are thinking before they ask the question, and again a video is so much more powerful that a brochure or plain text email.

Vostit is a great believer in the power of Thank you video emails, a thank you is a powerful statement, and more so when such is recorded and sent after a sales presentation or when a sale is closed….. it is also worth referring the client to online video testimonials that will serve to reinforce in the client’s mind they have made the right decision in buying from you.

Video marketing is an important tool for any company seeking to build their business, because it provides a sales and marketing team a tool that brings real results, - a closed sale.

I have read your article with great interest and thank you video emails certainly seems the way to go, and as you say, a thank you video email after a meeting or sale makes a powerful statement.
